Information on GFWL Save Data
Hey Resident Evil Fans,

A quick update on the way save files are being handled for Resident Evil 5 - the save data location for GFWL is different than the location that Steamworks uses - what this means is that when you start RE5 under Steamworks, it won't see the old GFWL file and will ask you to start a new game.

The save file itself hasn't been deleted, nor has it been overwritten, and it will still be accessible once the GFWL save data migration tool is available.

Please keep in mind that once the tool is available, importing your GFWL save will overwrite and replace your current Steamworks save data.

We apologize for any inconvenience!

(This only applies if you've previously played the GFWL version of the game on Steam, or are activating your GFWL key on Steam.)
