That's a bad practice I'd avoid. Devs have been known to swindle with false promises of a port, so I certainly couldn't reccomend buying a game when no port has been promised period.

If you count working in wine as fine that is great for you, you do you. Some of us would prefer native.
Yo, that was kind of a typo, I meant that it works fine, but sure, I prefer native too. Quadrilateral Cowboy was realeased native linux, and it was awesome, but I dunno if Brendan wants to visit this old title to port it. But it uses quake2 engine so could be simple I guess.
