Keep crashing, game or my PC?
I have 4060 TI with AMD Ryzen 5 9600X. Every time I exit inventory/memetic/building menu, game crashed, after that game will stuck on 100% loading screen. I need to restart my steam for the game to able to run again

I'd bet this is an UNoptimized game/Windows OS issue, but cannot prove that with other than anecdotal evidence. I'm assuming you've verified the game files, deleted your Steam cache, perhaps tried a reinstall, etc (the usual procedures)?
Out of curiousity, just how much RAM does your PC have?
Im using 2x16gb of RAM. I have verified the game, havent tried the other things. PC is brand new bought it around 3 weeks ago, all new parts. Played other games like Warframe and Enshrouded, they ran perfectly fine
It's not your hardware. It's the game. This has been a problem for quite a while apparently and gets worse with each update / patch / hotfix, as some people have reported around the internet. I play other games that are far more demanding and have no problems. This game however - problems. There's really nothing you can do. I've been beating my head off a wall for many days now trying to find some sort of resolve for this instability and performance situation that's going on. I've had zero success. The only ones who can fix this is NetEase.

Thank you for the reply. Ive been looking thru other discussion as well, apparently some people have encountered the same problem with exiting inventory/building/memetic menu.

What made you think that this is a game and not a conflict, for example, between the components of the processor, the video card, their settings? I don't have such problems. If this is a game, then why is it that everyone is fine and others are not. In my opinion, if this were a game, then everyone should have problems. I have an i5-12600 and a 3600ti. I remember once there was a conflict in another game. It turned out that the problem was in the video card settings. Then NVIDIA released a patch in the update that fixed everything. Otherwise, I had to tinker with the settings myself to solve the problem.
My game (way of winter) kept crashing every 15 minutes until I took of all cosmetics.

I'm just using cosmetics from the battlepass but ig this is worth to try
I'm on an i7-8700 (not "K") + RTX 2080 (not "S") + 32GB RAM at 3000MHz. I've had a total of two issues with this game since July -- the first is the memory leak that tanks the framerate after around 4 hours of playtime, the second was needing to force-quit and restart the game the first time after a fresh boot. Both of these problems have been mostly fixed with patches for me.

I can't help but think that most people's issues are down to poor PC hygiene.

Yea its really hard to tell since people have different kind of PC and situation. For me its a brand new PC so there's a small chance that PC is the issue. I put this thread to see whether people have been having the same issue or not, and to get more opinion on this
The game is unstable. That's just a fact. People on Windows and Linux have all reported the game crashing and it's been a historically documented case for a long while on this discussion board. Not everybody's PC can be the problem in all those reported cases and the ones that keep popping up.

:steamthis: TRUE STORY! :steamsad:
I player the game on my old PC as well an i5-12400f with RX 6700 XT, never crashed but the fps drop when accessing inventory/building/memetic building is the same. And after more than a couple of hours playing the game my fps went from a stable 60 to around 40 ish. After a while it discouraged me to play the game even though I really enjoy it

Obviously the game is not "unstable" if it keeps consistently being stable on configurations such as mine *(which I should mention is much closer to current-gen consoles). It is your setup that is "unstable" if anything. There is a common thread of setups featuring 13/14x Intel CPUs and AMD GPUs that keep being brought up as issues. Big expensive rigs where the newest gear is breaking stuff.

Don't feed me that crap. This is the ONLY game that performs like this for me, out of literally hundreds of online games of past and present. Come to think of it, this and World War Z are the only two games of all the games I own, that have such instability. Funny how only two specific games out of hundreds of online games are displaying instability problems. This game is already known for the things I stated.

You can't simply ignore the heaps of reports all over the web about this game's instability and poor performance and pretend there isn't any problem. Hundreds if not thousands of reports across the internet, from people who have moderately older hardware to top tier modern day gear, have issues with this game's stability. Basically what you're telling me is because there's so many hardware configurations out there, it's the end user's problem.

If the game has so many problems on so many hardware configurations, wouldn't you say it's time for NetEase to acknowledge this and smooth things out better? Why is it, of all these many hardware configurations out there, most of these people have absolutely no problems in any other games they play, exception of maybe 3-4 out of literally hundreds. I said it and I'll say it again. It's because the game does in fact need performance and optimization fixes, to make the game more stable and perform better. If there wasn't a problem, people wouldn't be talking about it, the past five months.
