I don't think you can do it amidst an ongoing attack. Try to plink input quick and heavy attack as fast as possible and you should get it. I don't find that attack to be very useful imho so you can just give up on it for now if it's too hard to use effectively.

Its a button sequence, light then heavy. You dont press them at once. Once you do it couple of times it will become easy.

In my game, it only works if I do heavy + light quickly (in that order), but the in-game menu says it's light + heavy quickly (reverse order). I think it might be related to the many discrepancies between controllers vs. mouse and keyboard that plagued the game at launch.

Thats lie, it has It is dogde with instant counter and high poise damage.
