Not If they adapt the gameplay for it, the reason MGS TTS is horrible is because they've slapped MGS2 gameplay with MGS1 maps, something that don't mesh well.

It's that simple, If you took Pac-man, made it in 3D without a mini-map the game will be not good as it would be an inferior version of the OG, that's MGS TTS.

I see, but can't you beat the game without the new MGS2 mechanics that were introduced in TS? Let me know if you need some help, I'm always willing to assist people that are new to Metal Gear.

Then there is no need to have MGS TTS in VOL1 If you can do that in the OG and have a better experience compared to the remake.

Well the majority of MGS fans don't want to play MGS TTS, ask them If they prefer to play a fan remake or TTS they'll pick the fan remake, same question with MGS TTS vs MGS1 DELTA and the majority will pick delta.

TTS flopped due to being quite horrible, hence why Konami and kojima prefered to port MGS1 over TTS twice (a third time here for Konami).

Nothing stop you from buying a gamecube along the game, the guy you named said MGS1 looked better on duckstation then why even ask a port of TTS if the TTS community think this collection is bad thus if Konami port it it will also be bad ? Play it and let the MGS fans have the better games.

Well, I'm not sure why you're shifting the topic to TS, but if that's what you want, so be it.

Most people would not buy one console just because of one game, unless they're rich.

It look rough but I get that it's not supposed to be a full game, at least it look better than what konami did recently.

I hope that at some point we get a remake of mgs1, if it looked that good but with better animations why not ? Fairly sure most mgs fans want a good remake
