My animals won't do anything
They just sorta sit on their nests and vibrate, they don't make eggs or poop or whatever

iirc, you can pull them off the nest to let them roam and eat.

Yeah, you have to pull them off their nest once they've hatched. Erm, how do you get them to eat?

from what i've heard they can't die of starvation but they each have only 1 thing they'll eat if they can find it.

Ah, that's great, thank you. I assume they'll eat it out of the ground, it doesn't have to have been pulled up...? (Sorry to ask another question...)

Ah, that's great, thank you. I assume they'll eat it out of the ground, it doesn't have to have been pulled up...? (Sorry to ask another question...)

Ok, I actually experimented a bit to confirm this. A starving rabbit would not eat carrots from the ground, but did eat the one I pulled up for them, so I do think the food item needs to be picked and one the ground for them.
