I can play games like Wolfenstein The New Order, Witcher 3, MGSV, and Overload flawlessly on this machine at 1080p without needing to mess with my graphics settings. The only games I haven't been able to run so far is NuDOOM and Resident Evil 7, but even then they're both *almost* playable.
There is no earthly reason for a game like this that has such simple graphics to run even worse than both of those games at resolutions so low I can barely see what's happening onscreen. That's insane.
I mean, if you look up videos of how this game runs on a Steam Deck, you can see it constantly dropping 5-10 FPS below 60, and it's pushing the GPU to 60-70% capacity at all times. It's nowhere near unplayable or even really that bad, but just keep in mind that this is the exact same machine that can run Doom Eternal at a rock solid 60FPS. This game is absolutely not optimized just fine.
Again, not gonna dog on the dev(s) too hard, aside from the lack of optimization the game seems stellar in pretty much every other regard.
RX 5700 XT here, it is poorly optimized
couple hundred? This game actively dips into the 40's lmao
