it fun i like it :)

Normally I'd leave a meme review, but this time I simply cannot do that. I don't know who this Zachary guy, but he's truly outdone himself here.

Garbanzo Quest is everything you loved about Super Mario World, but this, this is different. Levels are more challenging, but feel rewarding to complete. Secrets aren't too hard to find, but difficult enough to the point where I've had to go back through a few levels an additional time. Speaking of secrets, there are so M A N Y!!! Every level I've played through so far has had multiple. It's a blast searching for keys to unlock secret levels and hidden treasure to find more friends or items. Also, the soundtrack is amazing; it's very playful and catchy. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, but it just wouldn't be the same experience if it did. My entire time playing so far, I've had a smile on my face. You can tell this guy remembered what made him love a game so much for the first time!

Garbanzo Quest is a love letter to retro 2D Platforming and is one of Steam's BEST hidden gems (although, I hope it doesn't stay a hidden gem for too long)!

Charming, challenging, chickpea.

This is an excellent game, frustrating at times but so, so, so rewarding. I'm a big fan of this whimsical artstyle, it all feels retro in a genuine way. I'm honestly surprised it's not breaking the internet with thousands of reviews and speedrunners left and right. A well rounded game, 10/10.
