Can you get banned by VAC ?

when i start the game it works fine it starts up ok but when i try to go in freemode or campaign it says 'the D3D device has a non zero reference count meaning some objects were not relesed can somemone tell me how to fix it!

Fun game, you should buy it! It's worth it at the sale price!

This game is actually pretty good. Just want to play some other people's stuff.
