I'm tapping out and requesting a refund. The tutorial is taking so long I'm wondering if the entire game is like this: follow waypoint, watch the cutscene with poor english, play through the set piece, watch another cutscene, etc etc etc.

There's a lot of 'placeholder' art, the character models look a little rough, the perspective is a little janky where you can't tell what's a doorway or not sometimes. The game settings are sparse. Graphics look odd the more you play; there are some sprites that do not fit the rest of the art style in my opinion.

This would all be forgivable, if it wasn't for the fact the game is NOT in Early Access; this is considered a 'full release'. Menu options are unavailable and say 'coming soon'.

Also, the startup screen has a logo for a company called WaeUnion, which is not the same company listed on the steam page. After some research, they made some game called Infected Zone that's hosted on sketchy free game sites, and the premise seems very similar to this game. Again, nothing on its own, but combined with the other stuff it feels like some sort of scam is happening here.

I am very, very skeptical and I recommend waiting until some more reviews trickle in.

It's a scam. Yes there's a game but:

1. Dev studio at the beginning of the game says WaeUnion - on steam it's Kioop
2. What's App and Telegram phone number disappeared from steam page (check web archive)
and it belonged to Heng Sheng's Grenada National Resort
3. They release other games, for example Crime District, only to abandon it.
4. Every time they release something, it's under different company name.
5. Any negative comments in steam discussion are immediately removed.
6. Dev's are radio silent.
7. Their discord isn't even moderated. (You can find link on their Twitter page)under different company name.

Tried to play the game despite the main UI and overall game looking bland and unfinished, GUI is also clunky. Gameplay is repetitive, I literally held shift and ran to each waypoint over and over again which I then noticed I was still in the tutorial.

Everything looks like a last minute effort to make the game look decent but it shows that the devs didn't even check their own game.

I would wait until the developers actually polish the game and make it worth to play.

(P.S whoever told me this was better than project zomboid, count your days)
