The game resembles KotOR in both combat and RPG progression. You choose a class at the start, then another advanced class later. Classes dictate what abilities you may unlock/use. The party members are usually temporary.
Since this is Game of Thrones, and the characters are predetermined (with their own backstories), you cannot play entirely the way you like as in other RPGs (can't be a shiny paladin, for example). The moral choices usually vary from being a total scumbag and a little less of a scumbag.
The combat is ok, not great, but I've seen any number of single player games here on Steam, supposed "AAA Titles" which are at best, equivalent to the combat here, if not much worse. It is however, not difficult, if you're looking for difficult combat or a difficult game overall, look elsewhere. It is however much more involved, choice driven, player combat and interaction driven, than say, a TellTale game. People love those though, some folks (a lot of folks?) have odd desires and expectations from their gaming.
tl;dr -
If after an hour of playing, you're enjoying the game, it's safe to say it's a good option for you. If after an hour you're hating it, then hey, refunds on Steam are easy.
Donno what your beef with the game actually is, as none of your comments are focused on truth about the game. Got anything useful to add to a discussion about this game or just piles of hate cause it doesn't play like COD?
Your comment about the game being linear is an extreme exaggeration. I preferred the combat system here to some of the stuff you see in a lot of other games like Dragon Age, Mass Effect, etc. I like those games and their combat systems are fine, it's ridiculous to claim that this one is trash though. The voice acting was fine, it worked, what exactly were you expecting? Can't say I've seen better voice acting in any other games honestly.
Seriously, it seems to me than anywhere you said "trash" or "garbage", everyone else should just take it to mean, "I don't like it, it's not my kind of fun." Which honestly, is fine as a review, or a comment on the game, if you were to actually say that instead of spewing nonsense.
Yeah rite. I explained it very well and precise. Worst game there ever was almost.
Not really surprised you think that. Sounds like the game was too much for you perhaps. Too difficult. Too much story maybe. Can't be sure as you're not capable of describing it beyond "Game bad, bad game bad."
Its all been explained before by countless ppl. Ur a fanboy, its ok to see nothing wrong if ur in love with that genre. Again its just a turd of a game. The end.
Not disagreeing with countless people. Just you. Fanboy? Hmm, I suppose you might see it that way. This started out as me responding to a post about "How are the RPG elements of this game?" and has subsequently gone into this round about with you calling the game "bad" with no valid argument for why. I don't think it matters any longer why you call the game bad. I think the only valid question now, is why are you in a forum about a game you seem to hate? Not even a game you enjoyed to a degree but feel reason to warn others to stay away, you hated it, and still do, passionately. That degree of apparent hate is much more odd than if someone say, really liked a game that other people thought was "bad".
Suffice to say, if in any game forum or discussion, your only purpose for being there was to bash the game for other people, perhaps you don't belong there. I'm all for say what you need to say in a review, bash it, praise it, whatever. Do a good job of either point of view and I'll respect it and give the review a thumbs up. Post mindless drivel like you have here and you get what you deserve. Post it in a forum or discussion like this and don't be surprised if someone responds unfavorably to your bashing, and isn't willing to just "let it go" with you talking smack and pretending you have a valid opinion. You've certainly got an opinion, and a right to it. But you've posted nothing to support the validity of that opinion.
Game is no good. Rpg elements suck. There.
