I have windows insider build so I just uninstalled the last update.
Bye.
And then the crowdstrike crap happened and now Microsoft are adding Kernel-level based protection to Windows, bricking most games that haven't updated their AC, at least on the 24H2 update.
Embark here are pretty slow to address this as there are other games that use EAC that work perfectly fine on 24H2. It's one way to further reduce the PC player base, but if Embark don't care then we'll just move on.
Maybe companies should actually spend the extra money on Server-sided anti cheat and skip the whole client side anticheat bit. Since even the most novice hackers can break the anti cheat within a few hours.
All this effort on the update and ignore the most basic one.
