Easy Anti Cheat Launch error after Windows update.
Launch Error StartService failed with 1275
Error code: 30005 (StartService failed with 1275)

Yes, I have tried with Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection both on and off.

Any idea how to fix this?

It's more like a work-around. Embark need to fix this, as more and more systems get updated to 24H2 this error will exist. EAC works in some other games with no issues just a few need to be updated to work on 24H2.

Here's to hoping Kernel-level ACs go to hell 🤞

Here's the thing, (for other folks reading this) generally these Kernel-level AC's work but as we all know it doesn't stop any DMA cheats or hardware level cheats or some even basic cheats. And these cheats kinda ruin a live service game like this, but EAC and others will always be 'chasing the tail' when it comes down to it.
And then the crowdstrike crap happened and now Microsoft are adding Kernel-level based protection to Windows, bricking most games that haven't updated their AC, at least on the 24H2 update.
Embark here are pretty slow to address this as there are other games that use EAC that work perfectly fine on 24H2. It's one way to further reduce the PC player base, but if Embark don't care then we'll just move on.

Yeah the new Windows 24H2 update broke the game, so my fix was reverse the update as well

So far if you were on a previous build of Windows you can rollback or uninstall the 24H2 update. But if you have done a reformat and new install of Windows with an updated USB/ISO then you're only recourse is disabling Memory Integrity in Core Isolation as there will be no version to rollback to, which isn't preferred but allows you to play the game.
Recently I reinstalled window 11. So i cant rollback to old updates. Whats the solution? Maybe new update might fix, if u report to devs.

Oh, the dev's know about it. They got notified along with all the other developers that use Epic's EAC about the upcoming 24H2 update. Some studios have implemented the update, Embark however have not. So two solutions, one being a roll back if you can, if you can't then disable Memory Integrity is the only way.

Kernel Level never stops anything. Most everyone is now using Hardware cheating devices.

Maybe companies should actually spend the extra money on Server-sided anti cheat and skip the whole client side anticheat bit. Since even the most novice hackers can break the anti cheat within a few hours.
well Im not ganna risk my os security just for the game. They need to fix their game, I have other games that uses easy anticheat but they run fine. only The Finals

So question is, why are Embark so slow in fixing this? They're gonna have to address it sooner or later. It's not gonna help their numbers if they don't.

I hope they include the fix in the next update for the December event. Not holding my breath though as Embark are focusing on ARC atm.

Still no fix...........

All this effort on the update and ignore the most basic one.
