Japanese language option?

Was curious if these old Steam and GoG PC releases of the Ys games have Japanese text and voice support. Store page says they don't, but does anybody know otherwise? Kind of wanted to get my hands on the Japanese versions of these games, so thought I'd check before I go hunting for second hand copies or something.

Unfortunately no Japanese language option. There is a mod out there that seems to add them but I've never tried it and don't know if it works: https://www.moddb.com/mods/ys-oath-in-felghana-japanese-dub

That is only for ♥♥♥ voice, not texts though. There used to be a workaround like this

But that's far too long ago, doubt it ever working again (as I tried and failed with Ys Origin, as usually both games have similar file structures, as same engines).

So for coconut answer - unfortunately no, there is no Japan texts. So either you have to go buy the Japan ver from Falcom directly or sticking with remastered version for Nintendo Switch.
