Wait wasn't this supposed to be the case to prevent leaderboard exploits?

Yes it still is the case that dynamically reassigned functions cost 1 tick to call to prevent leaderboard exploits. The bug was that functions with multiple arguments cost 1 tick even when never reassigned. The cost of function calls should be 0 usually to encourage using them.
