please let us dismiss the code completion window with ESC without accidentally dumping out to the main menu randomly.

this can be achieved with some hysteresis, or requiring a slight hold to go to main menu, or some combination of those, or simply removing this bad interface overloading

Uhh... hitting ESC works fine for me. Never once had it bring me to the main menu.
