This game is causing audio to come from my motherboard

I noticed this weird electronic static noise coming from my motherboard. Turns out that it only happens when I launch the game, and immediately goes away when I close the game. It also changes slightly while moving any of the audio sliders, but reverts to the original static noise when the slider is released. Windows 11, some MSI motherboard with a i7 10 series processor, 7900X

Any idea how to prevent this?

That sounds like a hardware issue; perhaps a capacitor has a breached seal and is cooking.
Motherboards should not make noises, except through the attached speaker (if one exists).

hmmm, wild guess but may it be coilwine from the GPU?
do you have v-sync enabled?
do you have a fps-counter running to check if your gpu is just trying to render hundreds or even thousend of fps whick may cause the coilwine?
