Has this game's performance gotten any better from launch?
I was so excited to play because I finished the first game a year prior to the release so I was really excited. I was kinda bummed out for playing around 5 hours especially by the performance even with my higher end PC. So if anyone knows in terms of performance does this game run better? It just froze a lot for me. I don't want to waste data downloading this again if it just runs terribly as it did the first time.

Never mind I'm downloading it anyway cause why not idrc anymore
Go to steam settings "in-game" tab, and turn off steam overlay. Crashes stopped for me.

If you were stuttering at all your cpu wasn't up to task then and won't be now, period.

The game relies on heavy threading and high memory bandwidth, as do most other gen9 games.

I have a 7800X3D and I was getting drops and random stutters to hell back, along with countless others. It was the crap optimization which seems to be much better now.
