Not just for soundtrack. For unmemorable and generic soundtrack.
A terrible, generic soundtrack with only a handful of good songs.
Why the hell are they charging so much. The only other dev that charged this much for an OST is Fatshark with the Darktide OST (which IIRC it's a HQ version and bundled with other goodies, you get a LQ/in-game version of the OST with the game). And even for a soundtrack that good I'm not paying $30 for a digital album.
The Soundtrack is pretty good in itself, but yes, this price is unacceptable. You don't even get a CD with it, so...

You have poor taste or haven't heard many quality works then. there's only a handful of good songs in this game. Most of the battle themes are crappy monster hunter knockoffs and the majority of the few "area" and cutscenes themes are too short and generic sounding to be memorable. A good soundtrack sticks in your mind, the only songs that stick in my mind from this game are the unique battle climax theme (not the End of the Struggle Remix, the other one), the EotS Remix, the Bakbattahl theme, the brine beast theme, and the rotted dragon theme. The rest are far too forgettable, and the generic battle theme is a crime in a bad way for how much you have to hear it since there's a combat encounter every 10 meters.

Especially compared to the first game, the OST is bland and boring.

Go listen to the OST for Monster Hunter World/Iceborn Or MH Rise/Sunbreak for a good quality comparison example from recent Capcom games.

First and formost: I have the ULTIMATE taste.
Second: i do only 'rmember' two tunes (Ancient Battle Ground, Unmoored), while you remember a lot more. So... something's wrong with you, if you still nagg.

There seems to be 3 CDs, do you get those CDs when you buy the Ost, or how is this done? Cause if so, this is gonna be a collectors item...

It's probably split into 3 "discs" like some steam OSTs are. It's just 3 sub-playlists under the same OST.
