Well i checked it out..seems thats it not possible to disable only the music. Btw.. the music is really awesome, my favorite Tracks are "Twenty One" and "Ascension"...

yeah but i would like to have more experience, and i think there are tracks that would suit this journey much more than original. It's strange that developers closed that possibility. Not fair =)

You can turn all the sound off in your taskbar, but i don't think that is what you meant because then you won't hear voices either. :(

Well, sorry, maybe it's me who made a phrase hard to understand. English is not my primary language so... sorry for inconveniences.

This Dear Esther game really should be hacked or something. It's good game but music is not excellent here, so i think it should be good "walking and dreaming simulator" with your own music. I wll investigate how to disable this music.
