Is Landmark Edition just as good as original?

Is Landmark edition just as good as original? Is it just the original with smoother graphics and better compatibility for newer OSs?

I say for anyone followed.
Not its not good.
Transition to new engine introduced bugs, broke light system designed for Source, and overall render changes disrupted feel of the game
