Happy new year everyone! 2022 was a great year with the world cup, and we hope to provide more updates this 2023! On to the patch notes!

• Jump animations! Whenever you are tackled unsuccessfully, your character now jumps a bit :)
  
• Tackle animations have been improved
  
• Controls in pause screen
  
• Goalies now have a catch and a deflect ball probability

- Game times now end less abruptly- Goalkeeper now controls ball with feet if passed from player of same team- Improved support formation for attacking players- Added ball control velocity for players, now if a shot is too fast, some players may not be able to control the ball

• Control sometimes doesn't leave goalkeeper

• Pause menu missing translations

We've kept on working on XP Soccer and we have a new World cup finale patch! This patch brings custom player inputs, 7 minute games, and whole lot of bugfixes and improvements. Hope you enjoy the new patch!

XP Soccer - Build 1.10 Patch notes:

New features:
- Added ability to remap player 1 and player 2 controls
- Control bindings and player inputs
- 7 minute game implemented

Bugfixes:
- Ball now does not go outside net if it's a goal
- Fixed goal far goal post sorting value and ball sorting value on certain heights.
- Fixed ball z order where it wouldn't look appropiately sorted
- Fixed issue where goalie couldn't be controlled by player
- Fixed issue where ball couldn't be grabbed on some edges
- Throw in now passes the ball to the closest player in the direction
- Fixed bicycle kick animation
- Player now won't be able to header the ball if it went out of bounds

Improvements:
- Goalie cant pass nor shoot when looking backwards
- Changed post check algorithm to use circle radius
- Added fade transitions
- Player now looks backwards and can no longer charge pass during kickoff
- Forward headers are now more common
- Added different shot properties per shot type. Shots now randomize between min and max charge values
- Added goal back tube.
- Added change to camera bottom boundary so that public is almost always visible.
- Show free kick or penalty msg instead of foul msg
- Added square icon and team selection view.

XP Soccer - Build 1.9 Patch notes:

New features
- Player 2 can now select players and strategy on 2 player exhibition mode
- Added music and sound effect volume settings
- Added kickoff message
- Added own goal message

Improvements and bugfixes
- Updated Argentina goalkeeper
- Ghana uniform adjustment
- Match overview colors
- Match and half time now doesn't end abruptly but rather waits for a good time to end
- Curve ball now use the proper sprites and for longer time
- Goalkeeper can now catch fast curved balls
- Players now automatically shoot the ball if no input is done for 5 seconds (kickoff, free kick, throwin, corner, goal kick, penalty kick)
- Created different config variants for some players
- Implemented initial variation of difficulty

We've been working on some of the critical bugs on XP Soccer from initial release, and we've got our first patch!

• Improved ball-player assignment preventing some freezes
