This week the 0.27 update goes live on the BETA branch! The patch went live a couple days ago but today we have a few improvments and fixes coming to it,

In general this patch comes with everything needed for paving roads and making asphalt, some conveyor improvments that has been requested and other multiplayer fixes,

You can now also use the hopper to consume any inventory item aswell, this way you can feed dirt collected in storage to the asphalt plant or any other conveyors to make it easier to stockpile items,

This week the 0.27 update have finaly entered internal testing! so now the beta is very close to being released so you can start paving!

The paver took alot more time than expected since we didnt have anything close to it ingame and had to add new controls and most other features to get it working,

there are a few limitations still (cant fold the hopper with Asphalt in it and the tilting the Screeds doesnt do anything) but in general it feels like a great addition to the game,

The 2 vehicles also come with the new plant that makes the asphalt from gravel, it is the first production unit of the next generation open style conveyors

This week we have released the 0.26 update to everyone and launched our first ever sale of the game and DLC (so make sure to grab that if you havent!)

We are now working on the upcoming update 0.27 that will include a paver and everything needed to pave roads if it goes to plan, We have also finaly found the issue where the roles doesnt save for clients,

We are also working on alot of vehicle fixes that will come in one of the upcoming updates, both weight and physics improvments,

There is also a large production rework coming but we will disclose more about that later, but its a rework that will fix alot of the issues and is alot more fun to both look at and work with!

Now its time to push 0.26 to everyone! There are 2 new maps with foliage, new deposits, the ability to join trough steam friends and a lot of fixes and tweaks,

This update also contains a lot of changes to the save system to make that more reliable and have more redundancy, a bunch of inventory and workbench tweaks and requests has been added or fixed,

New beta out!

This week we have added the ability to join sessions trough steam friends aswell as invite friends to your session, the sessions are still password protected so uninvited friends cant join at random,

Several crash issues aswell as other XP issues have been fixed in this update, We have also started to dig trough all the issues regarding high CPU useage and wierd physics so there will be optimization updates coming aswell,

we have also been working on the problem where some sessions are invisible and have been able to get it to work sometimes, but there is still work there to be done.

Next week i belive it should be quite a few more features coming to the beta! ːsteamhappyː

New beta out! And new beta branch!

This beta comes with a new beta branch becuse of the save rework, any saves you start/load in this beta wont work if you go back to default branch

we have also made a new branch for the version 21 (before multiplayer) without password so people can switch easier

With the new save/autosave rework it should be way less risk of loosing entire saves due to save corruption/crashing, the structure is also a bit diffrent to put all saves from one "save" into one folder and make the save system better and more reliable overall.

The workbenches can now que up to 999 items and we have fixed quite a few inventory and xp issues,
Drill has its own controls aswell as the grader got 2 new functions, the articulation and wheel lean.

This week we have continued to work on the upcoming beta update, the beta will need some more internal testing untill we have tested the reworked autosave feature so we know it doesnt break anything but other than that this beta is ready, but reworking the save system is something that needs alot of testing,

other than the autosave we have added alot of inventory fixes and other reported issues, like giving the drill its own controls aswell as adding more features to the grader, There are dirt fixes coming for almost all machines but that might not make this update,

For the upcoming beta we will also "clean up" and change some stuff in steam so we dont need any codes for beta or any other versions to make it easier to switch versions,

This week its 2 years since Out of ore got released! so we decided to make a video showing the changes the game has undergone during those 2 years, other than that we have continued to work on the upcoming foliage update,

Some of the things fixed in the upcoming 0.26 Beta update includes better session visibility where it wont be needed to change the Download region to see other sessions,

We have also fixed some of the crashes that has been reported to us, aswell as a couple of XP issues and Money balance issues,

The Beta will get a update very soon but due to some changes being quite extensive we need a bit more internal testing to make sure everything works as intended. ːsteamhappyː
