I died the other day. When I created my character, everything in my season vault, gift box, materials, and rack is gone. I still have my fame, my pets, and clothing....everything else is gone. At the end of the season, I did receive a ton of gifts like a character slot and a storage box of my items from last season. what should I do? Is this normal for season characters after each season?...

The new year has begun and we hope all of you are ready for what is to come in Realm of the Mad God. We are going to start this year with the return of Oryxmania! Fight our Champions and get ready to engage Gladiator Oryx, an easier and reskinned version of O3. Perfect to learn the fight! We have also added 2 brand-new champions to this Event!

The Event starts after the Maintenance and ends on the 15th of January.

A permadeath RPG Bullet Hell. If that doesn't sound fun then the game probably isn't for you.
Very fun but the game has been plagued by balancing issues for its entire lifespan.
Fun in like 10-20 hour doses. Occasionally life consumingly addictive. Great game to sink 30 hours into in a few weeks then come back a year later.
Pets were the worst mechanic in 2013 and somehow they still are in 2025, however DECA has tried their hardest to improve them.

"Preparing Update" SOLUTION

Hello! If you're a new/returning player you may run into the problem of being infinitely stuck on "Preparing Update". But there is a solution to this. . Take Realm of the Mad God out of the OneDrive folder. I do not know why it being in there bricks it, but this has been the solution. I figured I'd post this here as I'm sure not everyone joins the Discord to ask for help. I hope this helps you join the fight for the realm!...
