[Bug Reports III]
[Bug Reports II]
Report your bugs here! Starting a new thread and locking the old one so I don't have to scroll through previously fixed issues.

A couple of common issues and their fixes:

1. My game crashed to desktop. Please try rebooting it and come back if the issue persists.

2. When I try to hover a dialogue option, it highlights three of them at once. Please investigate further and come back if the issue persists.

3. The game crashes when I try to load a file. This seems like a rare interaction error with the Steam Overlay. If you disable the overlay you should be good to continue without any further issues!

Hey there, I got the game for Christmas and I am enjoying it, I love playing it on steam deck as it is a wonderful game to play on the go.

However I am having some issues with selected text not behaving well with the D-pad.
pressing up and down causes the menu to become out of sync with the selected text.
The highlighted text cannot be seen if it travels out of bounds of the text box, and the text box does not scroll enough to keep up with it.

I am hoping you can recreate the issue by using a plug in controller for PC but if there is something else you would like me to test please let me know.

In general, in both of Black Tabby's games, the menus are a bit odd to navigate with a controller. A lot of the time I need to use the mouse. I'm guessing it's an engine issue.
Hi, not sure if it's a bug but I got the good ending and just noticed there's an associated achievement that hasn't popped. I have a screenshot for proof if necessary. :) Great game, hurts my brain but I'm looking forward to my 3rd playthrough.
Sometimes when I play the game, the image freezes. The sound keeps going but the image is just stuck there. And there doesn't seem to be a way out of it unless I turn off my whole computer. I'm playing on macOS 12.3.1 on a 13 inch 2020 macbook pro.
My Our Song at the end seems to be missing a song.
In the basement i have 5 options to choose from but the final 3 of them act like one option. If i hover over any of them they all get the orange / red color.
The 3 options are '[Try and free her]', '[Leave her in the basement]', '[Slay the Princess]'.

*Edit*
It does do the correct option if you click it

Been playing the game for a couple days, at first I played on my Desktop and all was perfect, however ever since playing on my Steam Deck, when I went back to my Desktop everything started randomly glitching up when in fullscreen and moving the mouse around. I tried disabling Boil, Parallax and Flickering, verifying files and reinstalling, but nothing changes.
I tried recording the screen or taking screenshots, but recording seems to fail for whatever reason, and I'm unable to screenshot the issue
Furthermore, the issue only shows up when the game renderer is set to Auto (which defaults to OGL for me), manually setting ANGLE2 seems to resolve it

I played this game a bit, really enjoyed it, but when Installed it, my computer started dying like crazy, I couldn't right click my pc background, I couldn't use the search bar, etc, and it didn't remedy it's self until i uninstalled the game, having to preform a complete windows reinstall. unfortunately I can't supply any make or model details at this time, I simply just don't know them.

That definitely does not sound like the game's fault. It's a PyRen game, it can't do that.

I have every achievement except for 'Pass the Point of No Return', I've tried gaining it multiple times and it hasn't unlocked for some reason.
I just downloaded the game and opened it for the first time, and the game is freaking out. It's like the layers are seriously glitching over each other. Even the main menu is glitching like crazy. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but I got the same issue. I found out it was a little bit better in window mode vs full screen, but it started getting worse within the first 5 minutes. Even the text was glitchy. It started giving me a headache and was pretty much unplayable so I uninstalled.

I'll have to wait until it gets fixed, I guess. :(
I noticed that if you came from the Prisoner Route, you will not be able to even warn her when you're possessed by the Narrator on attempting to free her again.

I understand that you're locking off paths (in this case leading to the Tower route), though there's no reason why you can't warn her at least once before The Narrator seizes control (blotting out the resist option instead); her dialog and the artwork matches your intentions much more closely that way.
It's also nice not being forced to stab her in the back, even if she is just as hostile going into the Tower route.

I'm not sure if the same holds for Damsel->Witch (though it's nice that if you can warn her, she references the Damsel before she tears the player apart).

Reasonable — change implemented in the dev build; will go live with the eventual release of the Pristine Cut :)

Try verifying your install, and if that fails, try hitting Shift-G while the game is running and playing with your rendering options, or try updating your drivers. Hope this helps!

You have to get the good ending in chapter 1, on your second "run" or onward. The variant of the good ending in the prisoner chapter doesn't count for this achievement.
