Pretty antithetical to the Backrooms to have a story and things within them; also extremely jumpscare-heavy which is again not the point of liminal horror. In those jumpscares, most are just annoying and cover your whole screen. There are a handful of subtle ones which were surprisingly decent, but the rest are Youtuber bait un-apologetically. There could be something here with the paint system to be honest, having other player's write messages or draw icons to direct people towards points of interest, but in this game there is no need for it as is, since the playable space isn't very complicated and there are already plenty of guiding images put there by the developer. The plot of the game is about the evil of humanity, but it's terrible voice acting and use of a real-world murder with very minor detail changes (Timmy King) makes it cheesy and grimy, and undermines itself. It's not worth its price, or your time, and it is looking like it won't ever be given how long it's been in this same form.
