I just said that. MK1 is a reskin of MK11 and MK12, in other words, its MK12 with a different name, they all are ♥♥♥♥.

The only MK games i play are: MK1, MK2, MK3, UMK3(The best), MKT, MK4/MKGOLD, MK9(which barely made it in, but still good/passable) MK Mugen Games, all the rest are garbage

I'm not saying that it's right to do that, but that's literally what EVERY fighting game franchise is doing.

Capcom are selling M.Bison and Akuma as DLC for SF6, they were selling Blanka, E. Honda, Guile and Sagat as DLC in SF5
Bamco are selling Eddy and Heihachi as DLC for Tekken 8, they were selling Armor King, Anna and Lei for Tekken 7
NRS themselves were selling Mileena and Shang Tsung as DLC for MK11 (Shang is still technically DLC in MK1)

Classic characters are sold because they will be bought. It's business is usual. And honestly not the biggest MK1's current problem imo.
