Impossibility to play the game

Hi everyone! I've got an issue with the game when I want to launch AND play it: when I launch the game from Steam, it works really well, like, the game's screen title shows up, I can go and check and set the settings and all, but when I want to load my game or create another one, the game just crashes and never starts. Like, I just literally can't play the actual game! I don't know if it has already happened to you guys, and if it did, how did you fix it (if it's possible to do so)? Thanks already to the peeps who'll maybe help me.

this is a fairly common problem with this game. an easy fix for me was lowering my resolution to 720 until i load into the game, then change it back to my desired resolution. hope it helps.

Does reducing resolution to 720 or less fix this problem?

Well, I tried, but it didn't change anything... I don't know what to do now- Because, if it comes from my computer, I probably never know what I should fix (or if I'll ever be able to fix anything in any way).

Yeah that really sucks, I really loved that game... I changed my computer a few weeks ago now to be able to play games without it lagging, yet this is the only game I'm not able to load (while you can literally run it on a damn potato). It worked really well on my last computer, and it was way worst than the actual one, so I don't get what's wrong now- ⍩
