I'm also having this issue. I was doing some reading and someone had said that the game is, essentially, being shut down by your computer system because it's not compatible with windows11. Something to do with anticheat software. Someone had posted a google docs link to fix it, however, I'm not brave enough to see if it works.

2、If the previous method does not work, then change the file AliceEngine.ini located at x:\My Documents\Documents\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config to "Read-Only."

hi, i had the same issue and fixed it by right clicking the game on the sidebar: properties, installed files and verify integrity of game files. i am using windows 10
