Yup, he wrote and performed an original song for this project! And he's open to creating more tracks for the full game!

As a solo dev wanting to push next-gen graphics, that's not an option. In fact, UE5 don't run properly on a Steam Deck even if they are from AAA (see Wukong).
With the last pass of optimization, we got 60fps on a 2060 Super (which is close to a 1660S). I believe that would cover most of the market and anything lower won't be possible with the visual fidelity I'm aiming for.
So, it's not a matter of wanting to support Steam Deck, it's simply impossible. Steam Deck is not designed for next-gen graphics, that's it.

I appreciate the response, and hope the games does well. I’ll certainly be buying the game to play on my main setup.

Otherwise I can also pay now, I've been playing Sega Rally since the 1st (yes I'm old now), besides I've played almost all the Sega arcade games (especially the racing games).
In short, I'm waiting for "your" work impatiently, no rush but yes very impatient, be sure that I'll pay the D-day to drive next gen on "Sega Rally".

I'm releasing a free demo and we'll see how it goes, both in terms of public demand and Sega's response.
