Meh. There's bits I like but I mostly end up using FO4edit instead, and that is not a recommendation when some third party makes a better editor despite a lack of access to the code.

I seem to recall Bethesda saying that the CK was the tool the devs used, and I have to ask why they didn't take the time to make a better tool. It seems very counter-productive, since that tool could be re-used internally for so many projects. If anything, I would have thought the tool should be incredibly streamlined and efficient considering how many decades of work they have put into it.

I guess it is like if Ford Motor Cars had released a car that they said they used internally, and you noticed one of the wheels was missing and you had a pig in the back seat, and if you turned left it burst into flames. I mean the car. The pig is busy advertising for games you will never play.
