Bug in Rotten Stigma

*Spoilers*
I am having trouble with Rotten Stigma. The pipe bugs will not show up in my inventory most of the time. I didn't have the pipe until I shot the woman in the bathroom and I was able to break the fallen chairs. But once I went through the hole at the bottom of the pool it was out of my inventory again. So now I am in the room with Amanda with no ammo and no other weapons... cut the chain, die, repeat...

Update:
I tabbed out of the game to make this post, when I tabbed back in the pipe showed up. Weird.

Hey there!

Is the mouse wheel reacting at all to your input? Like scrolling puts away your gun, etc?

Yes it was. It was going from gun to unarmed. Like I said it appeared after I had gotten out of the game and back in, so I was able to get past that area. But I couldn't use it or even see it in inventory most of the game.
