How to unlock the 'Understandings' achievement?

in the fight with DarkGuy, you have to use your light when he is using it, you may have to start a new game for that

There's a fight with orange dude where he's lying on the ground; using your Lightning button actually pings like you're not in combat. Do it twice instead of attacking. (You'll need to start a new game.)

Thanks for your helps, guys! Now I've accomplished this achievement in a new game. Well, I can't believe I was so aggressive at first time that I failed to notice Dark Guy's sign of reconciliation. :mocry:

i started a new game and i did what you said and it didnt give me the achievement for some reason

Is this the fight in the purple region or the fight at the beginning?

You won't miss it, there's only two fights between Edda and Aven.


Just press the button that's tied to your Sonar, as the Controls call it, until the "fight" ends

There's a purple area where you encounter Aven lying on the ground. He calls to you using his sonar, and if you do the same multiple times instead of fighting, you'll get the achievement.

i started a new game and i did what you said and it didnt give me the achievement for some reason
Me too, I can't get the achievement, I've already tried it two times and it doesn't pop up

Yes, I pinged twice in two different savings and it didn't pop up
