I grew up playing Ratchet and Clank on PlayStation so to see the latest entry come to PC is a joy. Especially since I don’t own a PlayStation console anymore.

Now this isn’t the best Ratchet and Clank game but it’s by no means a bad game.

Graphically this game looks amazing for the art style. When I first started the game I found myself just staring at the screen, it really is that good. There is native ultrawide support, which is always nice and I can say it was flawless through out my playthrough.

I didn’t experience any performance issues (PC specs on my profile for reference).

Gameplay wise I had fun, the rift mechanics are good and I’d say most of the levels are well designed with only one or two levels I wasn’t overly fond off. The game doesn’t overstay its welcome which I like.

It’s not an overly long game to beat and it’s not particularly challenging. But that’s okay because not every game needs to be 30+ hours long and difficult. This is the perfect chill game, I found myself putting in a couple of hours at a time after a long day at work to unwind.

At full price I would be hesitant to recommend but on sale I highly recommend picking this up. It normally goes for 50% off.

I’d love to see a Ratchet and Clank Collection on PC with the same great graphics this one has.

Ratchet and Clank is a series that is near and dear to my heart. Since PS2 days, I have been playing these games and I can attest to the fact every mainline entry in the series has one-up'd their predecessors. Rift Apart is no exception. This game looks and runs great, and is more importantly, extremely fun.

The game itself is good, but the PC port is buggy and unstable.

I nearly got soft locked in two parts of the game due to random crashes that always happened in specific areas. The devs suggest turning the settings down as a "fix," which is ridiculous considering my PC can easily run this game maxed out, and even that didn’t solve the crashes.

If you’re interested in this game, do yourself a favor and buy it on PlayStation 5 or wait for a massive sale. It’s not worth full price with all these issues, especially since the game is very short. I took my time and still finished it 100% in just 26 hours.

Solid ratchet and clank game.

Ran great on my PC was able to play it on ultra with a 2080 TI and keep it above 100 FPS. Gunplay is really satisfying and the variety of weapons kept most encounters fresh. I found the story to be pretty average and the amount of "marvel" humour the game has is egregious at some points. The zones are beautiful and the different ways you move around the maps was lots of fun. Overall only took me about 20 hours to 100% the game which is totally fine by me but if you are looking for more hours to put into the game there is a challenge ng+ mode that unlocks after you beat the game with new weapons to unlock.

Well, i´m a huge R&C fan, been playing the titles since their release back in PS2. That said, this game is a massive meh imo, past titles have been much much better. The games never really stood out for their complex story, but this story is just bland and predictable, gameplay seems extremely easy and the "puzzels" if you can even call them that are extremely simple. Visually the game is amazing, so no complaints on that front. I´d say if you are a massive fan this game is worth it at a discount, not full price, the game is around 5-6 hours id you only complete story missions and dont go out of your way for collectables. I you aim for a more complete run id say between the challenge mode and normal story around 15 h

honestly a great game. i grew up on ratchet and clank given it was the first game i ever played and it has always been near and dear to my heart. i cant wait until they release the new one in 2029.

So far feels like a hidden gem for the ps5. The graphics are the best i've seen so far and the gameplay is fun! A little disorienting though

The feeling to force myself to play a game....
This game is absolutely beautiful in the aspect of visuals and the art style that it has, it honestly blew me away when I first loaded this game up for the first time and after bumping this to the max settings that this possibly had to offer. The game runs phenomenal. However, I think that this falls short on the story and the way that the plot is built in this game. I know that I only have about 40ish minutes of game time in this but however I was never hooked on wanting to play more on this what so ever. The only reason I would possibly play this is to complete the achievements that this has on it. And even then I feel like that this would feel like a drag on. And forcing myself to play this game and that is what it was. This looks and obviously sounds like a lot of fun to a lot of people but this is something that is just not up my alley. While, this game is something of a small child could play all of the way up to the age scale. I had this game on my wish list for quiet sometime now and got this on the super sale, either way it did not matter I am still ending up returning this while duration of me owning it, all it was doing was collecting dust up on the shelf with little to zero intention on playing this or even wanting to install this game again.

In my opinion, unless you grew up playing this game and fell in love with it during your child hood time. This is something that you will only fall in love is the visual aspect of this game and very little of anything else. Get this on a huge sale if you are intending to purchase.
