It means you can tell which pieces of media were "woke" by waiting to see how they do financially. Turns out the Spiderverse movies weren't "woke" because they made money, but Joker 2 probably was (I've not kept up with the arbiters of "wokeness" to discover whether they've "discovered" it is yet).

I really hate on the game alot but Max character model is definitely not bad lol. I mean she has wrinkles on her forehead because she's pushing 30, she is a old hag by videogame standards. Its better this way than making her look forever 18 like Resident Evil Characters who still look like they are mid 20s by the age of 50+ lol

Just cause some games flop and happen to be woke doesn't mean there is a direct connection between those two facts. Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Spiderman 2, God of War Ragnarok, Hogwarts legacy, TLOU Part II, Elden Ring all had DEI elements and still sold EXTREMEY well. There is a huge disconnect between terminally online anti-wokesters who bother to review bomb things and the general majority of the public, the normies, who treat this more as a casual thing. We play the game and just enjoy it and not pick it apart. It is time to admit you have lost the culture war. Most Americans lean left on social issues, climate, LGBTQIA+ stuff, abortion, etc. The center gets farther left all the time. The good old days are over and it's time to move on.
