A key part of this update is an exciting feature that we know you’ve been asking about for a while…

We’ve finally added voice chat to Omega Strikers, and, even better, we've partnered up with Discord to give you seamless, reliable communication features directly within the game.

It’s super simple to do, all you need is to link your Discord account to Omega Strikers and you’ll be able to happily chat away with your Goalie when they miss a save! You won’t be mean! Surely!

It’ll also import your Discord friends right to OS so you don’t have to worry about searching them up and finding them - as long as they have their Discord accounts linked.

We’ll also have it so you can chat with your buds in-game via Discord so it syncs with your account. Never miss a message again when your friend tells you to hop on!

Don’t have a Discord account? That’s chill too - you can still join voice calls and everything in-game. You’ll just be missing out on the automatic friend syncing and Discord message syncing.

Please note that this feature will only be available on the PC version of Omega Strikers at this time!


We've also got new skins for your favorite characters, balance changes, new emotes (and 2 more emote slots actually), and NEW SKINS BRO FOR REAL.

Drek is near the bottom of pick rate in most tiers of play, and in higher tiers especially he’s been pretty weak. We’re giving him a slight tap to bring that up a bit.

Kai isn’t really doing super great anywhere. Giving him a boost to his power but making sure he doesn’t go crazy with across-map snipes.

Far and away the best Gear everywhere, just gonna bring it down the tiniest tad to give the others more appeal.

• Speed :: 25% → 23%

Super Surge is underperformaing compared to its class, but I’m not trying to touch speed too much atm.

• Damage to core :: 6% → 7.5%

The least popular of the gear, Vambrace is often left to the wayside. This may help a touch in a more KO-focused meta.

• Stagger restore from hitting Core :: 9% → 10%

• Ascended poses with skins should now properly display.
• All titles should now display correctly in game.

Asher is not only the queen of a lot of your hearts, she’s also been the queen of the field. We’re toning her down as both goalie and forward to keep her in line. Don’t worry tho, she’s still plenty toned.

WE'RE (kind of) RELEASING A NEW GAME?


Byte Breakers is our newest prototype game - a 40 person platform fighter battle royale. Featuring the Omega Strikers characters you know and love in A NEW SETTING!!

The game is an early prototype and we're not even sure we're gonna actually make it. It's giga early, there's not a lot of polish, there's bugs, but at least 1 person thinks it's fun (me)

We really out here with a new patch for SEASON 5 OMEGA STRIKERS!!!
Naturally, we don’t have a ton of new stuff while the team cooks up some new prototypes (and this is technically a micropatch anyway) but we still want to bring you some nifty new changes.
Among those nifty changes are character adjustments and a NEW SKIN REWARD for you climbers.

We also got a couple more small features headed your way in a bigger patch, so keep an eye out for that!

We’ve adjusted a lot of stuff in her kit previously, but she’s still not really where we want her to be for either group. We’re shaking her kit up by removing the hit stun and some PVP power from her secondary to make it a more reliable tool and adding some extra strength to her primary. We’ll be keeping an eye on this and will follow up if needed.

We’ve got a couple small adjustments and a little surprise: SUMMER SPLASH IS BACK! Except it’s in like mini form.
Check the Missions tab and you can unlock yourself some summery emotes and goodies.
As an added bonus, Summer Splash (Mini) is actually happening in summer this year! So let us begin.

High elo Atlas was kinda struggling. Celestial Intervention also was (is) kinda bugged so this should also help mitigate some of those effects, while also strengthening him.

The bugfix last patch had a sizeable impact on Mako’s game feel. We're pulling back some of those changes and loading more power into Drum and Base to compensate.

Vyce’s damage was *off the charts* - especially if she picked up a couple cooldown awakenings. So we nerfed her. Did we really need to write that last sentence? You can read the change and see what we did right? It’s totally intuitive. Nah.

The change for stinger in the last patch ended up being a much more sizeable nerf than intended. This should still represent a nerf from two patches ago, while also bringing the awakening more in line with its peers.

Today’s update features a couple of quality of life features you’ve been requesting for a while, some new community stuff, and some of your favorite balance adjustments. We even threw in some bugfixes for good measure.

We’ve got just a couple adjustments to some Strikers. Nothing big like the last batch where we changed virtually everything though!Atlas has been exploring space and gaining knowledge so you haven’t seen him in a while. He learned how to reduce the cooldown of his Secondary so you might be seeing him more often.

He’s a little stronger now and upgraded his Xeno Cloak so he can go invisible for longer. In general, we are trying to push some power away from his primary and into his other abilities so that Drek’ar won’t be so much of a one trick lizard.

Increasing the duration of burns from Stinger so that quick reapplications of the debuff are weaker. This’ll be particularly noticeable when multiple people take Stinger and try and burn you to death.

  • Note: Stinger does not prevent stagger regen so this won’t keep you from healing any longer than before.

VV hasn’t really been poppin for a while. With the global stagger increase with the last big patch, VV was effectively healing you less. This should help it be decent again.

Orbs are back baby and I know you love it. We brought back and adjusted both Orb Dancer and Orb Ponderer. We wanted to “flatten” their strength curve so that compared to the previous iteration they perform better on average but have a lower top-end. We’re also keeping Orb Replicator out to prevent some snowballing with these changes.

Alright with that patch note stuff outta they way I just wanna drop in for a sec and say I saw some stuff that you all have been posting on the World Wide Web about OS and just wanted to post up a reminder of what’s happening on our end.
While it’s true that, as previously announced, most of the team have moved onto other projects, (which are still open for playtest applications here [forms.gle]btw.) but a couple of us are still working on small quality-of-life stuff for Omega Strikers. For the future, we still want to bring some smaller updates to you all like:

• New seasons
• Recolors as skins for season rewards
• Additional Battlepass Levels
• Community-made emotes, titles, nameplates, etc.

For the next update patch, we’re just going to have some bug fixes and a couple smaller things. All that being said, we’re so stoked that you’ve been sticking with us so far and have been playing OS, enjoying the matches, and giving us feedback on everything we’ve done!! We hope you continue to do so into the future and we’ll see you soon <3
