i'm aware but if its something the Devs see people want they might consider it.
The devs have always posted the exact end time for the availability period from the very beginning.
Although that time (from the most recent big patch releasing the collab content) is slightly earlier than the Godzilla launch news post. That one indeed had 11:59 PM PST, November 23.
Well, it's probably just a miscommunication, but it's still pretty frustrating.
I did not even check the update post from the Devs at first, but on the store page it did not mention a time. Just the dates: "DAVE THE DIVER - Godzilla Content Pack is a time-limited free DLC, only available from [May 23, 2024] until [November 23, 2024]."
I did not even exspect, that it would last until the end of the day 23rd Nov, because usually the Steam event timers (daily sales, holiday sales, etc.) reset at 19:00 CET (7pm) in my time zone. So being shut out from the DLC after 15:00 CET (3pm) surprised me a lot, especially because I was still logged in on a second device on the DLC store page before the deactivation, but I still could not redeem the DLC after 15:00 CET even after I activated the base game key on my first device.
Now after converting the time zones from the original update post, I am even more frustated, because apparently I should have been able to redeem the DLC until 24th Nov morning.
It's just sad, because I was very interested in checking out this game sometime, when I am done with my current games, and thought this was a good opportunity. But this whole situation is so annoying, that it leaves such a bad taste and makes me lose my motivation to try the game at all.
I guess searching for the DLC in the depth of the internet is technically possible, but even ignoring the legality it seems like too much of a hassle to find, set up and potentially sync save-games all outside the comfort of the Steam launcher.
All in all really unfortunately handled situation and it left me with a bad impression on the publisher and devs, mainly for potential games in the future :/
Again, the latest news post had the correct time, even if different. I suspect someone flubbed the timestamp originally , because Nov 22 11:59 PM PST precisely translates to Nov 23 07:59 AM UTC. They gave sufficient notice - and I don't know if licensing agreements will give them any wiggle room. If the license had the precise end time in it as well, there's nothing to be done.

why are you continually posting its too late? Why not let the dev's see this and potentially do something? I bought the game on 2 platforms at full price and missed it too, would be sweet if there was a grace period added or something extra the devs could do. Literally no reason to constantly tell people tough luck unless you're working for the publisher/developer.
You seem to be reading far more into my posts than what there actually is. There's confusion around the precise end time - I'm drawing attention to dev statements to try to clear up the confusion. Also, there's lots of people who aren't familiar with how IP licensing works.
Nothing I say or do has any bearing on what the devs might or might not do.
