Sidequest Help

Just beaten the game yesterday and had a blast, I wish to complete it full but I'm having a hard time finding the way to complete these two sidequest:

- Apollyon
- Gargolax

Has anyone been able to to compelete those?
I'm gonna assume one of them is related to the island past the whirlpool but I can't find the lumber to upgrade the ship. And I think Apollyon is on the isle with the one orange tree that isn't a secret area, but I either don't have the correct lure for the boss or I am at the wrong location.

Thank you. I didn't really thought of something that simple I feel dumb XD
In the meantime I managed to find the lumber and in the swamp dungeon and that lead me to Gargolax so I can close this topic

I´m still searching for that lumber. Where can I find it exactly? Swamp dungeon? You mean the dungeon in the sorrowmurk?

Yes, just go a couple of screen deep into the dungeon and you'll find a grey bridge with a shining thing in the middle. I don't have a screenshot of the location but you really can't miss it. Interact with it and a fight wil start that drops you the lumber afterwards
