I am sorry but how do developers get away with release games in this state. I really wanted to play this but now it feels sour. Just because you have "big name title Funkos" does not mean your game is "polished" and ready for release.
Sorry if I seem harsh but damn... now my day is ruined due to yet ANOTHER poorly released game.
I agree the situation is frustrating but the game has only been live for 4 hours give them a chance to release a day-1 patch and fix these issues before overreacting.
By your common sense the industry standard should be like this:
Release a buggy mess for thousands (if not 10s of thousands) of people to play. Let them play the broken mess we have "failed" to test and optimise then, AND ONLY THEN, will we fix our game.
I do not like the "industry" standard of releasing half-assed games on the marketplace. It should not be standard.
I do respect what you are saying my dude but calling it "overreacting" for sharing my feedback is a bit much... dont you think? Specially with the majority of games in the past 2-4 years being.... bad at launch.
we don't know the reason behind those bugs, we just have to give them some time to fix them.
i loved the project and want from the bottom of my heart that it will do great.
There is a "standard" or a "bar" that is set so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ low nowadays because people let developers get away with releasing "SUB PAR" games in very bad states and it takes them "TIME" to fix some of the EASIEST things imaginable.
I loved "FUNKO FUSION" but after seeing yet ANOTHER sub par release, you have to be honest here, does it not get tiring or infuriating to see games go down and down and down the rabbit hole of the same mistakes as every other game? It is as if no developer learns from other game release's or mistakes nowadays and that is why the bar is set so low.
If you went to a restaurant and they you a pasta; the flavours were there but it was completely under cooked pasta, you would have the right to complain. Same with this game. I couldn't play the game at all. I was hardlocked and because the game forces you to choose a level instead of all of them being open from the beginning when the tutorial changed nothing but the character you play as that meant I have to delete my file in order to restart.
A day ruined over a video game. You may want to reflect on your life. Video games should help you relax not pop a blood vessel.
