Saruei gmod model keeps crashing SFM.
There's a gmod model of the vutber Saruei, that I lazily ported to SFM-I put the model's materials and models folders into SFM's-and while the arms of model, opens fine, the entire model itself crashes SFM. Idk, why that is, the model doesn't have any additional requirements, I suspect that the model has more verts than SFM can handle. Although I haven't opened the model in Blender and I doubt it the number of vertices would be the issue, since it runs fine on gmod. Then again, I'm not sure.

Here's the link to the model: https://gtm.you1.cn/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2893236121

I will update if I open the model in Blender and see what I find.

Before anyone asks.

No I don't intend on reuploading the model in SFM's workshop or anywhere. I just need the model for SFM animation.

And no, I'm using it for THOSE type of animations.
The URL is messed up. Please add a space between “model:” and the actual link.

So I imported the model into Blender and found that the model has just enough vertices to where it should work in SFM just fine (it has around 61,000 vertices). I also noticed it doesn't have a ragdoll model, for some reason. Yet when I open the model in SFM it crashes, while it's arm model for the player view, works just fine. I suspect, it might be something in it's QC code that's crashing, but I'm not sure. The model looks ok so far.

I looked at the model's QC file and it doesn't look like there's anything wrong with it. There's a lot of jiggle bones and physics constraints in the code. Would there be anything in the QC file that would cause SFM to crash?
I doubt it anything QC file could cause this. What about the texture files? Are those in 4k resolution?

EDIT: Maybe try removing all the physics constraint codes.

I'll try removing the physics constraints in the code, to see if that works.

So I removed the jigglebone physics codes, and the model works now. So now I can make SFM animations with Saruei in it.
Neat. Glad it works.

How u remove jigglebone? I have also this problem

Go to crowbar, decompile the model, got to the QC file, erase all of the jigglebones in the code, recompile the model, and it should work.
