devs did the exact same thing they did the first time they failed: paywalled the entire roster.
they deserve everything they are experiencing.

Use your fresh storage space to download Marvel Rivals, which is what you get when you have people who can simultaneously understand the source material of the characters-- AS WELL AS not actively hate the player-base by turning half of the game into a virtual wallet-opening simulator.

My guy if you have to ask for validation on deleting or keeping a game you really need to work on yourself. But all in all if the game doesn't make you happy or you dont get the same joy you once had with the game just delete it

if you enjoy it then keep playing it, but don't spend any real money on it because it's probably gonna get shut down halfway through season 5, considering how soulless WB is nowadays and how hard this game ended up bombing.

i'd recommend saving up to buy rivals of aether 2 or something whenever that happens

I like this game better than Brawlhalla, because ironically it is less grindy and has "better" monetization (you literally can't get any skins through gameplay in Brawlhalla, everything is paid).

the game is only a failure now because the rerelease sucked and because characters are way too hard to unlock though.

imo if the only change the release had from the beta was the better netcode (and it IS 100% better tbh because the beta played like cheeks) instead of whatever bs they came up with on release, or even if the beta never got shut down and they just kept adding new characters like they're doing now, it genuinely wouldn't have been a failure and would've probably gotten fortnite levels of money if they played their cards right.

f2p platform fighter games aren't a bad idea and this game proved they could work, this one specifically just sank because its developers were bad at actually making a game. which SUCKS because they failed so hard they seemingly scared off every other company from attempting the same thing

I've been playing since beta and have spent so much time and energy on all these stupid events that I feel the drive to keep playing. I'm basically full-on sunk cost fallacy and keep playing the game I used to enjoy even though I hate it's current form and the company pushing it out.

If I wasn't in as deep as I already am I would just toss it aside.

I've made my decision: I'm getting rid of it. FOR GOOD!

I'm not huffing anything homie. I like this game even with it's flaws. Hopefully it lasts for a while or maybe it won't I honestly don't care because I'm having fun.

I feel about the game's apologists and the people who won't shut the hell up about "game dead" the same way I feel about democrats and republicans.

I hate both, but on a day-to-day basis I can't decide which is more annoying.

Would it kill you to have a nuanced opinion where you can acknowledge the good parts of the game and also it's faults?
