After releasing our second patch last week, we have noticed many game crashes and other problems that are related to the use of mods. These issues are often caused by mods that are incompatible with the most recent game update.

We certainly recognize that modding is a big part of the PC gaming community and we tip our hats off to all of the creativity that goes into it but be aware that there is no official support for modding and keep in mind that we are unable to provide technical game support when mods are installed.

The use of mods and third-party tools can have a negative effect on game stability, especially in combination with game updates. If you have mods installed and are experiencing problems, removing the mods and third-party tools and then verifying the file integrity of the game on Steam often resolves issues. If you are still experiencing issues, fully uninstalling and then reinstalling the title could work as a last resort.
