Asphalt Legends Unite delivers a visually stunning racing experience with smooth controls and exciting tracks. On paper? Great mechanics, a surprisingly nostalgic soundtrack oozing with Burnout and Need For Speed vibes, presented with some great aesthetic choices all reminding me of the olden 3d arcade racers of ancient times.
In practice? A cross-platform mobile game that has possibly 5 levels in total and 90% of the play sessions ("s t a g e s" if you will) end within 30 to 60 seconds. So what happens if you've got 5 levels with almost none of their sessions lasting longer than a single ♥♥♥♥♥' minute?
On mobile? Short bursts of digestible entertainment efficiency.
On every other crossplay platform? Coma shortly followed by the inevitable brain death after passing the 6 hour mark.

This game has amazing foundations, but it desperately needs more variety to it.

A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game full of microtransactions and artificial limitations to get you to pay up. That said, the driving is pretty fun and reminiscent of arcade racing games.

Love the fast paced races! I love that the tutorial races are short and sweet. Controls are easy to learn. great for my short attention span.

i have nothing to complain about, the game is free and runs nicely on my toaster-quality PC, there are many things to do without paying a dime but ofc if you'd like some car that's pretty or cool that's your choice to go with the flow and spend however much you'd like on the game.
