A patch for Sonic Origins Plus is now live! This updates numerous bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Please make sure to update your game.

Patch Notes:

• New Feature - Players can toggle off Anti-Aliasing to have a "nearest neighbor" pixel rendering in Sonic 1/2/3&K/CD and all Game Gear games in the Options Menu.
• New Feature - Players can toggle Game Gear sound to Mono in the Options Menu. This feature addresses the “double audio” Game Gear audio issue.
• Game Gear games will now fill into the provided screen space properly.
• Super Amy will have proper after-images while running.
• Amy's movements will appear smoother in Sonic 2 Special Stages.
• Metallic Madness Zone 2 item boxes location and contents are properly placed.
• In Quartz Quadrant Zone 2, Amy will no longer disappear as the camera moves away in certain conditions.
• Players can now pause the game while in Doomsday Zone.
• In Boss Rush mode against Egg Tilter, Knuckles will have proper rolling animations from springs.
• In Flying Battery Zone, spin-dashing into the magnetic presses will no longer result in instant collision death.
• The correct description for "Jump" is now present in the Chinese localization of the Sonic 3&K digital manual.
• In Competition Mode, Knuckles' change direction movement has been adjusted.
• Additional physics adjustments have been made in Sandopolis Zone.
• Menu text will no longer shrink after entering the Museum and returning to the Main Menu.
• Amy will now be able to complete stage loops while using her Rush Attack.
• The game will no longer crash while playing as Sonic and Tails after collecting the 6th Chaos Emerald in Sonic 1.
• In Sonic CD, Extras that are unlocked will now remain unlocked.
• In Sonic CD, Amy will appear in the proper coordinates after time travelling in certain levels.

Platform-Specific Updates:
• Save Data corruption will no longer occur in rare instances on PC (Steam/Epic Game Store).

This summer, the Blue Blur is back with the definitive and expanded multi-game collection of classic Sonic the Hedgehog games – Sonic Origins Plus! Available digitally on June 23, 2023 on STEAM.

Sonic Origins Plus features the four beloved classic titles in Sonic Origins – Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3 and Sonic CD – with remastered visuals, bonus characters, added modes and challenges, behind-the-scenes content and more while adding significant improvements. One of the more exciting new upgrades is the addition of 12 Sonic Game Gear titles, bringing a total of 16 classic Sonic titles together in one timeless collection. But that’s not all - fans will also be able to play as Amy Rose in all four classic games, including Sonic the Hedgehog 1, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. If you’re a big Amy fan, you can choose her in the Character Select menu, then speed down memory lane wielding her Piko Piko hammer from the iconic Green Hill Zone to the treacherous Death Egg Robot. Plus, Knuckles will also be playable in Sonic CD, so fans can challenge themselves in iconic, high-speed platforming levels as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy across all four main classic titles!

For current owners of Sonic Origins, the Plus Expansion Pack will be available separately as a $9.99 USD upgrade to make sure you can still experience all the improvements and new content Sonic Origins Plus has to offer with ease.
