im on the namek saga now and while the main story is a breeze, the "what if" AI seems to be cheating. i'm not talking about in terms of timings or input reading but they seem to get damage increases, super armor, passive ki regeneration, increase ki charge speed, ignore skill counter requirements (i had vegeta spam that explosive wave despite being at 0 skill count), and some sort of "comeback" damage if you pwn them too hard early.
while the increased "difficulty" does force you to use different mechanics, some of the fights just devolve into spam and you end up ignoring the mechanics because getting chunked for 8k in 8 hits is wild.
would be nice if they could sure this up in a future patch so these AI focus on certain things like being a rush combo specialist, smash specialist, ki specialist, etc... instead of giving them a buff to everything and then start spamming specials with their insane ki regen if the ai is losing.
Thats what people said.
Only the ai can counter you when you are punching them from behind, you can't do that
