All of custom materials and maps are downloaded to the client in the server folder download.
Question. Why after loading custom maps and materials - game not see what to download?
Charged materials and maps are not running in the game. Everything is in the folder download no extracted in the game folder. Download the client handed materials cards into play - stupidity.

I wrote about this already once on the old forum. With the latest update the game has not changed.

With regards to Half-Life: Source, is there any visible error messages, or perhaps, can you describe the loading problem a bit more in detail?

Is there an easy fix for the playermodels?

Yes, use console command cl_playermodel to set the model you wish, or you can put it in the 'cfg/autoexec.cfg' file. All the player models are in the same folder (models/player/normal/).

For the cfg file:

When I picked my model then typed cl_playermodel in the consel (sorry if I spelled it wrong)
it didn't work.

It has to be: cl_playermodel "models/player/normal/male_05.mdl"

Crashes after nearly map change especially in the coast maps. I will get the error message next time I play but it should be easy to reproduce. Using dedicated server on windows.

Also crashes on non-dedicated. And alyx gets stuck in the floor on first ep2 map, right after you plug the power cable in. What gives?

Can you help me whid this ? when i lunch Synergy so does it start but then so does it say "Engine Error . Unable to load manifest file'scripts/surfaceproperties_manifest.txt" what does it mean ? plz help

Hi! I install Synergy mod, but when I try play it write me: "Synergy requires a registered copy of Half-life 2 on this Steam account to function correctly".
My have normal steam account and registerd copy of half-life 2.
Please help me!

What you have is Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, you need the original Half-Life 2:
