Can someone help me?

I have no idea how to play with my friend.
Connecting with console does NOT work , it gives me a connection error after 4 retries OR it tells me my map differs from the server map.
The game isn't listed in the server browser either.

Put this in your client startup to resolve the connection error. To do this right click on Synergy, then on properties, and paste +clientport 27015 in launch option box.

Synergy servers hide public IP addresses, if you wish to unhide the public IP add -nofakeip to the server startup commands.

If the server is a dedicated server, it will also need to be ported through the server owners router. One port range is required. That port range can be any port 27015 - 27030.
