Hey, so I meant to release a video alongside the wacky cheats update but then I didn't finish it in time, so then I decided not to do it, but then I decided to do it anyways, and now it exists.

This video also gives some final genuine thoughts on the game and some thoughts on maybe possibly doing a sequel in the future. The behind-the-scenes was just a meme, so I thought I'd actually talk about the game for real for a quick bit I guess.

Featuring

Play as a raptor.

Description

The game's been out for a while, so I decided I just wanted to mess around and break things with in-game cheats. Enjoy.

You can toggle the cheats on or off at any time during the game using the settings menu within the pause menu. You can also enable multiple at once and they should all function together (which makes the gameplay VERY stupid). Some achievements/stats are locked out if you used cheats at any point during a game session.

This update also adds in the content added during the behind-the-scenes video (Video Link) like a new Jerma dance and Jerma joke audio line. The credits are finally updated as well since the behind-the-scenes was finally finished.

This was very fun to make. Thanks to the game's discord (Discord Link[discord.com]) for giving me some of the cheat ideas.


Also, this is the last planned content update to "Jerma's Big Adventure".

Very small update. Feel free to move along and ignore this.

v1.2.2 Changes

• When you reflect lasers, you can no longer get hit by the reflected laser UNLESS it is reflected back at you by a certain enemy boss
  
• When you reflect electric orb projectiles, you won't be able to get hit by it until the orb bounces off of a surface or is reflected back at you by a certain enemy boss
  
• Fixed game breaking bug where dying or restarting at a checkpoint in psycho mode in the first red region would cause weird broken cutscene behavior that could lock away the camera
  
• Fixed minor visual bug where background mushrooms would briefly flash on the screen when moving between some regions

The behind-the-scenes video is coming soon and there will be a small update alongside it. The behind-the-scenes will reveal the dark, shocking TRUTH behind Jerma's Big Adventure. Big event. Be there. It'll be posted to youtube.com/worblir when it's done.

This is a very small update that shouldn't change gameplay but should hopefully improve performance.

v1.2.1 Changes

• Changed how sections are loaded within the cave to hopefully fix some performance issues (which was especially an issue in psycho mode)
  
• Projectiles should no longer pass through enemies if reflected right next to the enemy

Another performance-related minor update will be coming soon that should include some graphics options (e.g. options for decreased particles, no post-processing, etc.) and maybe a few other small features like an option in the pause menu to restart from the start of the game (without going through the main menu first).

Psycho Mode

• A remixed version of all the levels seen in the normal game
  
• Reworked enemy AI (especially with raptors) that are more aggressive and reactive than before
  
• A variety of visual and environmental changes
  
• Two new achievements!
  
• A new, single ending for completing PSYCHO mode
  
• No tutorials and very few cutscenes, only gamer time

General Changes/Fixes

• When Jerma is ducked and on the ground with an enemy above him, releasing the duck button will bounce enemies up into the air
  
• When Jerma is ducked with a box above him, releasing the duck button will destroy all boxes blocking him from getting back up
  
• The in-game timer now stops during ALL cutscenes in the game. The in-game timer now will only count time where
  
• Projectiles should hopefully be more consistent at lower-frame rates and projectiles should no longer occasionally explode immediately after hitting them
  
• Jerma can't swing his bat while shocked now

I'm working on a larger update to the game that will add a new difficulty mode called PSYCHO that will expand on the enemy AI to make them more aggressive (no more pushover raptors) alongside at least one new achievement related to the new difficulty mode.

I'll also be messing around with some of the visuals and probably a few other things to give the PSYCHO mode the right vibe. The above ground region will especially be given a new distinct look in the PSYCHO mode, at the very least.

Version 1.1 is a minor update to the game that slightly expands on the stats screen and also allows all cutscenes in the game (including gate openings, etc.) to be skipped. This is a speedrunning-related update mostly. More updates to come. See you later Jermamites
