You want to speed run you can do each of them in 6-8 hours of MQ

Wasn't Phantom Liberty even shorter?
Well Bethesda at this point realizes they can sell any kind of slop at half effort and the fanboys will eat it up since it has the Bethesda tag on it, its pretty sad at the end of the day.

How much do you pay to go out for a meal, cinema, or a beer? Does $30 last you 12 hours? Just wondering if the issue is your income or expectations?

When you walk down the high street and see something in a shop window and you think it's overpriced, do you go in and start complaining, or do you walk on by? Exactly.

Unless you live in China, North Korea or Russia, you have freedom of choice, so don't buy it.

Big DLC for AAA games went up $10, just like the games. If you only got 8 hours out of it, you would have to bum rush the MQ, forget about any other added content, and die quite a bit while doing it. For perspective, it would be like saying Dragonborn is only 5 hours because you bum rushed Miraak and ignored the remained of Solstheim. The DLC's content is well over 40 hours. I'm 8 hours in and have only just spoken to the house representatives for the first time at about the 6 hour mark, no dying or redos.

Folks reading along, please note that I am the first person responding in this thread, including the OP, who has actually, verifiably, played the game at all.

Nope. 12-13 hours on Howlongtobeat. And it was also written much better than anything Bethesda has coughed out in the last few years

Or, simply put, the main story is 8 hours.

Took me 20 hours first time through, just finished the fifth, I've been in this expansion for... not quite a hundred hours. Well, in and out of it, I have made excursions in each NG+ to do Vanguard and Ranger missions. I am also aware of several quests and locations in Shattered Space that I have not even found yet, but that other players and streamers have mentioned. There is probably another hundred hours or more here.

Most people do not know how to have fun.

Why do all these posts have titles like the clickbait on the MS news feed page?
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Spent over 20-30 hours on it so far and haven't yet completed the content, not even the main quest. So far well worth the money, provided you like the main game. Many side and main quests have had multiple actual choices and outcomes which is nice.

average is 12 hours says how long to beat.

Took me about 20 hours of gameplay to finish just the main story of the expansion. Not even completed all the side quests yet or finished exploring.

I would say well worth the £25.
The small amount of content also explains why the max concurrent player spike caused by the release of the DLC was so short lived and is gone a week after its release.

Funny how it's always the people who don;t own the game who seem to get everything wrong about the game. They just hear something on youtube and blindly repeat it.
