STARFIELD IS GREAT FUN
Everytime I play this game I enjoy it.
And it is only going to get better in the future.
DLCs will arrive and mods are already taking it to another level.
Just imagine what it will be like in 18 months.

Share your thoughts on what you like about this game.

(I understand that there will be interruptions with people dismissing why we like this game.

Oh I agree completely. I get laughter and wonder and good feelings every time I explore locations and situations in this game.

The most fun I had with SF was uninstalling imo.

I really enjoy space combat and boarding ships. Like, a lot.
Especially the bigger C class ones, so many enemies!

I set my difficulty level to Very Hard (I can't handle Extreme) and boarding a big ship full of Ecliptic is challenging to say the least. But I totally agree it is big fun.

I have both difficulties (combat and space) set to extreme, but at level 407 Digger McGee needs the challenge.

I am a little in awe of keeping the original character going. I think I reached maybe lvl 120/130 on my longest play. Then the itch to install a boatload of mods took over, and I just had to see how it changed my early game experience.

hehe I wonder is 407 levels enough to max all skills. You might need a skills overhaul mod at some point just to give you some more to spend the pts on :D

SF is really fun, don't let the low player count/review score fool you.

I have not worked up to higher combat difficulty levels yet. I'm more snooping in the corners and finding interesting things to think about and see how the game interacts between the different factions and stories.

One playthrough I set all the difficulty settings to max, skipped myself to NG10 using console and then rushed my way to the outer systems to try and farm good gear. It was a mistake lol Had my arse handed to me so many times, one shot by everything just about.

Still, even then, I got a giggle out of my helplessness and the challenge of safely making my way back to easier space.

actually Oak, Digger is not my original toon. The original got to level 454 before a save got corrupted by a reckless mod choice and I had to start over.
oak 13 Aug @ 5:26pm
Oh yeah, I think I remember that. Lets call it... unintended hard-core mode, rather than a reckless mod choice :D

I do have lots of mods that include new perks. and a whole new tree of Starborn perks too. But I have them all mastered except for one which I'm still working on. Inquisitor Overhauls has lots of mods he has made that include new perks.

i enjoy the game , i dont care about player counts or reviews , i'm not a lamb just following the herd , i play what i like ,
i really like the well fleshed out npc's , they have moral codes and beliefs , your companion arent just pack mules , when they dont like what you're doing they let you know , the have personalities, the characters in this game are as good as those in New Vegas, i love hearing my fav chars from other games in starfield , i had the biggest grin the first time i heard Belathore , infact thinking of it made me smile again , i love the game , i have god knows how many hours in the game (i know its over 800hrs)and i have yet to finish it yet, it's great free roam , the game doesnt hold my hand , it lets me do as please across a vast map with things to do and explore,
