Despite the frame rate drops, cut audio and lag, the game is honestly enjoyable.

So....

I finished the game twice under Hardcore difficulty. I genuinely had a like a bunch of comments, not necessarily to rip the game, but just to provide some solid feedback to the developers. After beating and getting the ending where the staff provides some comments at the end, I really have nothing to say but to paraphrase what they were saying.

-It has its shortcomings and it could have been better-

I will say that as far as a "Metroidvania" is concerned, this game (as others have alluded to) will definitely scratch that itch. It pays homage to several mechanics that are present in the Metroid series and other games similar to the series. It is worth the price tag and it's pretty long.

My main critique would be that I wish you could disable weapons if you want. It would add to the replayability by being able to run through the game handicapped in certain ways. I can't think of anything else at the moment, but replayability is largely the biggest flaw here.

Good job guys, this is a great game.

The difficulty of this game is unfortunately pretty artificial, you're expected to work around the trashy boss animations for some reason

This is a fantastic metroidvania game. If you're a fan of the genre, this one will scratch that itch.

the game was fine. overall i enjoyed it.

Tight controls and runs smoothly on Steam Deck. Fun fast paced combat. Lots of hidden collectibles, upgrades and a few skins. Landscapes and visuals were astonishing. You can tell it's an indie game from some of the design choices, lack of enemy variety etc. English translation is sometimes confusing and story/dialog is not the best, but had a great time, especially fun late game with all the movement options and weapons. Recommend hardcore difficulty if you like challenging bosses.
